Motorcycle Electrical Problem!?

I have a 91 GSXR 750. I bought it just before winter a rode it home fine. This winter I went to start it and the battery was dead (go figure) So I hooked up jumper cables and when a connection was made I heard a pop and the entire electrical system went dead on the bike. Now i’ve gotten the manual (not the bike manual like a haynes, clymer etc….) and i’ve checked every fuse I can find and all seem to be good. Any ideas as to what I fried? The battery itself maybe? Do bikes have a fusable link like most cars? Any ideas or similar experiences would be awesome! Thanks in advance!

Hoop,,,did You find a Fuse on the Starter Relay,,,under that lil plastic cover on the Relay which covers the wire connections?

Not in the main fuse box.

ON the Relay itself..it’s a 30A fuse.
Hot Wire from Battery goes directly TO It.

And exits the Relay as a Red wire and a Red/White

All Power goes thru that,,,then directly to Fuse Box

Relay is under seat,,approx centered in frame,,
approx inline with where passenger pegs bolt onto frame.
It’s on top of the pile of stuff in that area

There’s no fusible links that I know of,,nor shown in parts or service manual
