Will this charger work for my batteries safely?
I have a HiTec CG-207 2A charger, and I’m wondering if I can use this to charge my NiCd 8.4v 1200MaH and NiCd 8.4v 2000MaH batteries. Its meant for RC planes, so yeah. It has a 12v input by electrical clamps. Says nothing for output, but has a large male Tamiya connector. I’ve looked around the net for info, but all I could find (from my school’s server) was that it can be used for NiCd/NiMh batteries. I have no idea if it shuts off on its own, if it trickle charges, if it has a discharger, etc. Can anybody help me with this?
It might be pushing it…
