Plotting AutoCad to PDF Problem?
We’ve recently found that some DWGs files (electrical schematics, very complicated drawings) are missing random pieces of the drawing when plotted through distiller (AutoCAD 2004/Acrobat 5.0).
It is apparently completely random; it varies depending on who prints and it can be messed up one print, and then the next it’s fine. Sometimes it will only happen once out of hundreds of drawings and then the next it’s 3 out of 20.
Any ideas?
There really is no fix for this. I have ran into this problem in 2005, 2006 and in 2007. I dont think that there is a solution, except to just bear with it.
