Electrical Interference Speakers

Sudden electrical interference?
Recently I have been enjoying my car audio system. It has worked perfectly for weeks. The system has 2 amps (900W and 400W) powering 4 speakers and 2 subwoofers and the head unit is a pioneer DEH5000UB. Today I turned on the system fine and started the car and terrible whine and electrical interference noise totally drowning out the music. When I turn off the music it pops so bad it feels like the speakers are going to blow. Suddenly out of nowhere there is huge interference. Checks I have done so far and eliminated as causes:
Power cable runs nowhere near RCA or speaker cables, grounds are neat and good from amps and head unit. all connections are clean and tidy from head unit. Battery terminal connections are good. The amps are grounded to the chassis…. near the back seats. Every connection is tidy and solid (no stray bits of wires or anything). Any thoughts/ ideas?
