Electrical Socket Sparks
Laptop plug makes popping sound? PLEASE HELP! I’m scared.?
I was listening to my ipod right now, and I heard a pop sound (like, if an electrical socket pops), and I looked at my cord and there wasn’t smoke or anything, but I’m about 90% sure that THAT was the sound. What’s going on??
Oh, f—- I just tried to plug it in, and it didn’t spark or smoke or anything. It just made a pop sound.
ok, i tried plugging it in again. And there’s a spark near the cord and the rectangle thingy that’s in the middle of the cord.
My laptop charger did this for a while when i got it, i thought it was normal to pop every now and then when i plugged it in. Mine popped when i connected the wire to the power block in the middle. Next thing i knew i had a fire in my living room. Unplug it and get in touch with your manufacturer ASAP!
