Can anybody tell me the anwsers to these questions?
Which of these connectors do I need to connect to my Linksys WRT54G?
TNC Male Crimp Plug, TNC Female Bulkhead Crimp
or
Reverse Polarity TNC Male, Reverse Polarity TNC Female Crimp Jack ?
Will it matter which antenna (left or right) to connect a cable to the roof too?
and
what type of cable should I use, I’l be using 50 feet of cable and a Antenna Factory 2.4-2.5 GHz Omnidirectional Antenna (15 dBi)?
Cisco has a utility to calculate gain and loss of RF for their bridge. You can use that to find out how much gain you will get after 50 feet of cable if you know all db info of your device, cable, antenna.
I believe WRT54G should be able to alter for outdoor use if you can spend time. But, you can put an outdoor wireless bridge at your roof or another AP/wireless router on bridge mode at attic (with good ventilation) to get outdoor performance without running long RF cable.
