Miniaturized GSM Bugs and transportation security

As everyone knows, a large part of car accidents involving trucks and trailers is caused by the drivers’ tiredness or unfit conditions, caused by extreme shifts or by the truckers themselves trying to bend the rules by exceeding their daily maximum driving time. Thanks to GSM cellular technology, this surveillance device can work anywhere, providing real-time information to a third party listener located anywhere in the world! Furthermore, the SIM card, having all functions of a normal cellphone, can also send and receive SMS messages.

This means two important things: first of all, that at the moment of its activation, the quadriband GSM bug will be able to send an SMS messages towards the preset number, informing you about an ongoing conversation or about the vehicle being turned off or on; at this point you can decide whether you can call or not, and listen in real time thanks to the hidden microphone. The second important thing is that the SIM card can receive command and configuration SMS messages, which will switch on or off the GSM bug’s functions, set up its activation or sensitivity parameters, or switch the bug on or off.
