What should I expect to pay for new furnace & hvac?
Also needed most likely is new duct work, copper tubing/lining, electrical wiring for the new unit (the house is about 30+years old and we are pretty sure we have the original units). I’m not real familiar with all the terminology but hopefully I make some sense. (located in SoCal).
Depending on how big of a unit, what efficiency you get, and how much ductwork (if any) is needed, probably $8-10K installed. If you already have ductwork, you probably don’t want to replace it – get an option for cleaning instead.
