open neutral electrical
motorcycle electrical problem?

go here and read step 5.

http://cbrworld.net/forums/thread/289528.aspx

i didn’t get continuity, and the thing says there’s an open circuit. so me question is if this open circuit is on the cables that go from the alternator to the R/R, or could it be anywhere on the electrical =wire harness?
also, when in neutral, i revved up to 5k rpms to check the output voltage, which was 11.8, and it blew the main fuse.
according to the site, is an open circuit, so that’s what im looking for, mayb it’s something else. and my R/R only has 200 miles on it.
thanks
the green wire connects to the R/R, which grounds on the frame. how would u jump the green wire?

Stick a cotter pin in the back of the connector and touch that to ground.
Plug in the reg/rec.
Test for voltage increase at the battery, while reving the engine.
