Siamese Cable
Do any of you have an idea of what my cat has ? help?
My cat got lost for 8 days and we found her the 8th day under my house, stuck with tight electrical cables around her waist. After we rescue her she didn’t have any movement in her back legs and wouldn’t move her tail at all.
I have taken my 6month old Siamese cat to a vet, but they were not much help. He just hit my cats tale so hard that she started to bleed from her behind and then told me to put her to sleep 
and well i sure didn’t want that.. I don’t think she needs to be put to sleep. The vet said she had paralysis but then again she has movements in all her paws and she is starting to move her tale. The only thing is that she has a problem walking with her back legs and there are time that she tries to stand up straight on her back paws but something doesn’t let her I have no clue what she really has. Can someone take a guess and help me. Thank you
Sounds like trauma to the spine. See another vet!!! And if you have a veterinary neurologist in/near where you live please go! I work closely with a veterinary neurologist and it is sad because most people don’t know that one is available. It can get expensive though we do MRI’s and CT scans. so look one up! They will be able to help if it is treatable. And hurry! If you need help looking one up i your area e-mail me and I am more than willing to help. Another fact is if she is not peeing on her own because of the paresis/paralysis her bladder can & will rupture!! PLEASE READ THIS WEB-PAGE
